How to use a dream journal prompt

Choose one question and write what you recall. “I don’t know” is an answer too. Keep later observations separate from the original entry.

Example response

Prompt: “How did I feel when I woke up?”
Entry: “I felt relieved. The dream was strange, but the last scene was quiet. I want to remember that part.”

Can AI help with dream reflection?

An optional AI summary can organise an entry and suggest tags. It may miss context or make mistakes. Review the result alongside your original dream.

What if a prompt does not feel helpful?

Skip it or record the dream without analysis. These prompts do not provide diagnosis or predictions. Read our guide to keeping a dream journal.
